Athens was a lovely city
smiling people feeding smiling lives
but one day they lost their smiling faces
they broke out in hives

So they left the lovely city
trying to cure the plague within the sea
but they all slept on the sea bed
now their children hold the key

Athens now a field of clovers
some they die before they even sprout
most of them grow five feet tall
oh my into a blink of eye

And among them see the livestock
mighty times for all the mice and men
men are living in the sewage
mice are forming groups of ten

When we raise our heads and look up
foliage’s everything that we can see
and the cloud that’s devouring Athens
marches like a sight unseen

When the cloud had finished Athens
all was left was just a ball of clay
I stick my fingers and form war masks
for my friends I’ll make amends.

By far I'd say this is the best album I've listened to in the last 5 years. Each song has its own story to tell whilst definitely getting stuck in your head. 11/10 Guys keep up the good work 🤙 (also great to listen to whilst high or on acid) tpm55

How lucky of me to find this band, and what a shame it took them 8 albums for me to find them. In particular, I love the swagger/frivolity of their playing. Also the delicacy of the guitarist on some tracks (reminds of Stone Rebel at times) Fav track: I am the beyonder ooijerm
